I imagine there are a lot of options for what I could have done with the lyrics here. Ultimately, I decided to write a song from a first person perspective.

I have heard about many artistic types who consider themselves to be frauds. Not believing that they deserve the accolades they recieve.

I like to believe I have a reasonably honest idea of my own strengths and weaknesses. I don't believe I am a virtuoso on any instrument I play, but I get by. On occasion, I'll write some good songs. The overwhelming majority of musicians can probably play circles around me. Still, I plan to continue doing what I can with what I have.
