Glenn Case
When Have I Been Wrong?
(Case)

[From the album "Greenwood Cemetery",
inspired by "The Dead Case", a Flash game by Zach Shaffer.]

I'm slowly gaining back
the knowledge that I lost.
I just wish it would speed up.

Now I think it might be worse
to linger with this curse.
Filling in the gaps too slowly.

I think I'm catching up,
Then things twist again.
I'm sick of my world turning inside out.

How much longer does this last?
Dare I even ask?
The joke is getting old
...and it was never funny.

[CHORUS]
So, when have I been wrong?
When have I been right?
I'm only guessing.
Is there a point to this?
I think there's been a big mistake.

What can really be explained
that has an absolute?
That has no danger of changing?

You get used to how things are,
and how the rules apply,
rules you never knew existed.

To my shock and surprise:
once I became my present self,
nothing is normal any more.

No, nothing adds up now.
Not like it used to.
Is this how it always was?
[REPEAT CHORUS]

[Instrumental break]

about

Glenn Case Spokane, Washington

I write music.

I listen to music.

I genuinely just love music.

I have a song available in "Rock Band" and that makes me smile.

Yeah, I'm the guy who did the soundtrack for "The New Adventures of Captain S".

I probably release too many albums, but I do attempt to find a good balance between quality and quantity.

Thank you.
