Glenn Case
Scared to Death
(Case)

[From the album "Greenwood Cemetery",
inspired by "The Dead Case", a Flash game by Zach Shaffer.]

Peeked in at the happy souls
before the sky had flashed.
Reached out and got shot to the ground,
it happened lightning fast
and I had to ask:
"If I failed, then what is left?"

Denied the opportunity
to step in the light.
Wondering if I can get the chance
to try to set things right,
what I did wrong in life.
Now I'm scared to death.

[CHORUS]
Somehow I messed this up
although I'm not sure how
It may take lifetimes to find out.

I hold the skull like Hamlet
in what looks like it's my hand.
From the burned down house down in the basement
where I did crash land.
Have I been damned?
Now I'm scared to death.
[REPEAT CHORUS]

[Instrumental break]

[REPEAT CHORUS]

about

Glenn Case Spokane, Washington

I write music.

I listen to music.

I genuinely just love music.

I have a song available in "Rock Band" and that makes me smile.

Yeah, I'm the guy who did the soundtrack for "The New Adventures of Captain S".

I probably release too many albums, but I do attempt to find a good balance between quality and quantity.

Thank you.
