about

Song title provided as part of Nur Ein XII. Song had to include prominent musical repetition.

lyrics

I'd say we start at the bottom
but, that's not always true
Some have an advantage from the start
The men explore
different paths and different floors
Except the empty spot which used to house a heart

And 'though there's up and downs
in the cities and the towns
The skyscrapers are eerily the same
A path that's fraught with fraud
at home and abroad
It's a race to have a name within the game

The elevator men
Will act and they'll pretend
to justify the ends,
and no one is your friend

And there's a penthouse suite
reserved for the elite
but, you cannot reach the floor without the code
'though the draw is strong
to go where you don't belong
You might think that you can hide it, but they'll know
And you must commit
when the exit sign is lit
So, step lively, and please do not block doors
Because to fit in
with the elevator men
First, you must believe that everything is yours

The elevator men
Will act and they'll pretend
to justify the ends,
and no one is your friend

about

Glenn Case Spokane, Washington

I write music.

I listen to music.

I genuinely just love music.

I have a song available in "Rock Band" and that makes me smile.

Yeah, I'm the guy who did the soundtrack for "The New Adventures of Captain S".

I probably release too many albums, but I do attempt to find a good balance between quality and quantity.

Thank you.
