Danonymous Read the description of how this album was conceived ... that's nuts! Every song is great. Can't decide if Droops Maghee or Silent Treatment is my favorite though. As for Sweet Canadian Mullet, well, where else can you hear John Stamos name-dropped? Favorite track: Who? Droops Maghee?.

What's that on your head? You're looking unique IT'S AN AMERICAN LOOK SO YOU CAN SAVE YOUR CRITIQUE! I'd say your hairstyle's old But, it's still pretty sweet CHECK OUT MY MULLET! CHECK OUT MY MULLET! There's people pointing There's people laughing But, honestly you probably knew that it would happen So, be yourself It isn't bad The hair that Billy Mitchell wishes that he could have When they see your head They don't know how to act BUSINESS IN THE FRONT WITH A PARTY IN BACK! Up in Canada They think you're on crack! CHECK OUT MY MULLET! CHECK OUT MY MULLET! There's people staring There's people glaring I think it's cool that you're honestly not caring So, be yourself It isn't bad The hair that John Stamos wishes that he could have [CHORUS] With your Sweet Canadian Mullet You get noticed for your hair With your Sweet Canadian Mullet You stand out in a crowd, but you really don't care [SOLO] When your hair grows out It's big, and it's bold IF YOUR MULLET HAD TEETH THEN IT COULD SWALLOW YOUR SKULL! You could bring the look back Where it wasn't so old CHECK OUT MY MULLET! CHECK OUT MY MULLET! There's people asking If they can touch it They ask if it's a wig And just how long it takes to brush it So, be yourself It isn't bad The hair that Captain Planet wishes that he could have [REPEAT CHORUS]

Prime Time 03:41
I know I need To prove myself Before I can Become 'top shelf' In time I might Just have exactly what it takes I don't mind practicing I put my fair share in And it's bound to work out fine 'Cause I'll be the next in line Because it's been a dream of mine To be in prime time (prime time) To be in prime time (prime time) I worked And soon I got the part It felt So great I felt so smart And still I have To say it's different from this side The magic kind of fades When you see it every day When you work behind the scenes Well, it's nothing like those dreams But, I guess that's what it means To be in prime time (prime time) To be in prime time (prime time) Egos and flare, and tempers too Why the hell did they get the bigger dressing room? And, if that no-name chump got a raise, I better get one too! The smiles are fake when the camera's on Like a spoiled, trained monkey that knows how to perform But, the moment the red light's off, it's back to Stabbing more backs (*clap* *clap*) And covering tracks (*clap* *clap*) Distorting the facts (*clap* *clap*) And insincere laughs I see It's not The way it was Back when I dreamt About this stuff They lie They cheat They steal When they're not kissing ass (*kiss* *kiss*) But I didn't hone my craft To put up with that crap! (Back up off me, sir.) And I never would have guessed It's such an overrated mess It's a waste of time at best To be in prime time (prime time) To be in prime time (prime time) To be in prime time (prime time) To be in prime time (prime time)

This planet's twisted That description fits it Why are we here, is there some sort of a plan? Counting our blessings on less than one hand There are countless rumors Some sick sense of humor There are no answers, I can't venture a guess And if I do, it only adds to my stress I'll take my chances and just hope for the best in... (CHORUS) Bizarro World Things don't always make much sense But, I still live here And I don't know What the point of all this is if I am sincere I'll make the most of the time I have Theories are infinite Don't get wrapped up in it When you feel more insignificant than small You wonder what's the point of living at all Racing thoughts on fire Makes a mind feel tired We may not know just where we are, or are from But, while we're here we can still laugh and have fun I know that it's not always easily done in... (Repeat Chorus) Look within yourself, but not too hard Next time you're staring at the stars We don't always find out who it is we are But, no matter what this is I hope you find some happiness in... (Repeat Chorus)

You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee? We've had our problems That much I admit I thought we worked through it all Now you're telling me to sit You say that you're sorry And that you used to care You considered your future And I was not there You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee? You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee? I didn't expect this I'm sitting in shock When you called me into the room I thought "She must want to talk" When did you decide this? It's such a surprise It doesn't make any sense So, is there some other guy? You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee? You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee? You packed all your clothing While I was away You didn't waste any time And you're leaving me today! I know he's behind this And it was his plan So, good riddance, I'm through with you! Go be with that poor excuse of a man! You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee? You say that you're leaving You're leaving me But, who are you running to? Who? Droops Maghee?

Ahhh...How Are You Doing? Nothing much has changed for me I'm still the same ol' dork I guess I always will be But, how about You? How is life? The time flies by so fast I just thought that I'd ask And so I did (CHORUS) We're all getting older How did it get this way? I reminisce when I remember My hair is going gray And even when I reach December It will be okay How are you doing today? Ahhh...How Are You Doing? Me, I've made some mistakes But, my regrets are few It hasn't been a waste But, how about You? I will listen I haven't always had a golden ear It's nice to get the chance to reminisce When you are here We're all getting older How did it get this way? I reminisce when I remember My hair is going gray And even when I reach December It will be okay How are you doing today? I'll listen to what you say Ahhhh Ahhhh (yeah) Ahhh...How are you doing today? Ahhh...How are you doing today? We're all getting older How did it get this way? I reminisce when I remember My hair is going gray And even when I reach December It will be okay How are you doing today? We're all getting older How did it get this way? I reminisce when I remember My hair is going gray And even when I reach December It will be okay How are you doing today? I'll listen to what you say

You say more with your eyes Than you do with your words Don't get me wrong I like when we talk I'm not saying you should 'shut up' No, I'm not It just blows my mind at what you can express With a look on your face Or a move of your arm It's part of your charm You gave me the silent treatment today Normally, I'd be worried If there's nothing to say But, your eyes meet mine And I know we're fine You gave me the silent treatment today It just blows my mind at what you can express With a look on your face Or a move of your arm It's part of your charm You gave me the silent treatment today You gave me the silent treatment today Yet, I know that everything's okay

about

"So, Be Yourself" was my third Album-a-day: A challenge where You try to write and record 20 minutes worth of original material within a 24 hour time period.

My friend Will came over and videotaped the making of the album, but then he accidentally erased the footage.

I was cleaning my music room at around 10AM, and I ran across a bottle cap because I am a pack rat. In this case, that was a very good thing. It was an old Sobe cap that said "Sweet Canadian Mullet" on the inside. I thought to myself, 'That needs to be a song title!'

Then I got to thinking a little more, and I thought 'Why not get ALL of my song titles from Sobe caps today! So, it was off to pick up Will and then we stopped at Safeway and bought 8 Sobe drinks.
The actual recording process started just before noon (PST) on Sunday, August 3rd and wrapped up at around 3:33 in the morning on Monday, August 4th.

about

Glenn Case Spokane, Washington

I write music.

I listen to music.

I genuinely just love music.

I have a song available in "Rock Band" and that makes me smile.

Yeah, I'm the guy who did the soundtrack for "The New Adventures of Captain S".

I probably release too many albums, but I do attempt to find a good balance between quality and quantity.

Thank you.
